The Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) program at Royal College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research is a four-year undergraduate degree with an intake capacity of 100 students, and the first batch commenced in 2007. The course is designed to provide strong foundational and practical knowledge in pharmaceutical sciences through well-equipped laboratories and experienced faculty. Admission to the First Year B.Pharm is open to Maharashtra State and Outside Maharashtra State candidates who are Indian Nationals and have passed the HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics/Biotechnology/Technical Vocational Subjects, securing a minimum of 50% marks (150/300) in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics put together, or 45% marks (135/300) for Backward Class candidates from Maharashtra. Candidates must also obtain a non-zero score in MT-CET or NEET 2025 to be eligible.
Candidates who have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) with a minimum of 50% marks and English as the medium of instruction from MSBTE, AICTE-approved, or PCI-recognized institutions are eligible for admission in direct Second Year B.Pharm (Semester III), candidates must have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy (ER-91) examination conducted by MSBTE or an equivalent PCI-approved institute with a First Class (minimum 60% marks, i.e., 600 out of 1000 in the final examination). This program provides students with comprehensive exposure to pharmaceutical sciences, preparing them for careers in industry, research, healthcare, and academia.
The Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) program at Royal College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research offers two specializations—Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance and Pharmacology—with an intake capacity of 15 seats each. This two-year postgraduate program is designed to provide advanced knowledge, research skills, and hands-on experience in the respective domains, preparing students for careers in industry, academia, research, regulatory affairs, and quality systems.
Admission to M.Pharm requires a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree from a PCI-recognized institute with the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the competent authority, along with a valid score in GPAT or the state-level entrance examination (as applicable). The program emphasizes research, innovation, practical training, and project work under the guidance of experienced faculty, enabling students to develop strong technical and analytical skills essential for the pharmaceutical sector.
